Song of the Sea...

My poem...

Song of the Sea...

Am a gift of the mother nature.
In the dawn, am a perfect picture.
Waves adorn me as a necklace.
Radiant Sun turns out to be my beautiful pendant.
Silky sands are my shirt.
My water is salty,
Yet no one finds it faulty.

Am a gift of the mother nature.
When you visit me its a pleasure,
When I visit you its a tsunami.
Kids love their toys,
But the shells I give them are a joy..
People hate dirt,
But not when caused by my shirt.

Am a gift of the mother nature.
People are thrilled by the crabs on my sand,
A joy they will never find on the land.
Am a paradise for the united hearts,
where stealing of hearts become divine.
Am a heaven for the families,
where all hell breaks loose in joy.

Am a gift of the mother nature.
Children create mountains on my sand,
Mountains of hope, joy and dreams.
All this fun I give it at free of cost,
but people feel free to ruin me the most.
My heart bleeds when I see,
litter all around...
Shameless people use me like a bin...
Mindless people use me like garbage dump.
Am like your second home,
will you litter this way in your first home?...

Am a gift of the mother nature.
Preserve me to give you more...
Of Joy and happiness.

- I wrote this poem seeing the way our beaches are littered all around. Very sad to see the way we treat a place which gives us lots of joy and happiness.
